REVIEW: HEGAI AND ESTHER BROW DEFINER

Beauty

When i walked into a makeup store in Abuja last year, the Hegai and esther brow definer  was the first thing i picked up, i didn't hesitate to pick it up because i had heard so much about it that my ears were beginning to bleed from the name. Though i was perfectly happy with my brow product and routine, i still believe that you can never own too many brow arsenal anyway. I almost don't have any brows myself, (one thin line of hair) and so my brow tools and arsenals are extensive, i decided it wouldn't hurt anyone (especially not my brows) to add one more to the collection.  So, some thirty minutes later, i walked out of the store with the Hegai and esther brow definer in my bag.
Let's take a look..

Description from site:

A waterproof brow color ideal for sculpting, defining, and carving perfectly precise brows that won’t fade. Smudge free, creamy formula glides on skin and adheres to hair. Must have for oily skin and humid climates. H & E Eyebrow Definer can be used as a brow definer or eyeliner, and provides luxurious colour and sculpture.

Price: 2500

Where to buy:

Purchase this online directly from their site Here or from Here or Here or Here.

You can also try any walk in makeup retail store near you or check out their Instagram page to see distributors near you.

Packaging:

Packaged in a white paper box, it comes in a small clear acrylic jar with a black plastic cap. The band name and logo is written boldly on the cap and product shade is visible through the clear jar. Included in its white box is a travel size synthetic angled brush, very handy.IMG_2046_mr1493463044329

Shades:

Three shades are now available
Toffee: Really light brown (for really light people)
Nubia: Deep dark brown (my shade or preference)
Ebony: Dark enough for really dark people.IMG_2060_mr1493463165065

Formula and swatch:

True to the words on it's packaging, it is really creamy and smooth. Smudge proof and yes, waterproof. It blends like a dream and doesn't dry very fast so it can be played around with till you get required result. But when it does dry down.. It stays put! Another thing i like about it is it really does blend in with the actual brow hair.IMG_2061_mr1493463178678

Other stuffs to note:

Great value for money: A jar will last months even if you do your brows three times a day, and you won't even need to, cause your brows will be in place for the whole day anyway.

Flexible: If you are like me that love to explore the versatility of makeup, then you can use this for other stuff, as an eyeliner, as an under eye liner, as an eye-shadow base, and you can even use it on your eyes to make eyeshadows pop more (I've done this, it worked out great)

Final thoughts: Yes, i would buy this again and again and you should too. I have to complaints whatsoever.
